Today I had a discussion on what would be the forthcoming "killer application".

I mentionned that there were already enough "killer applications" and that it was just a matter of using them. On the other side, my counterpart stated that such applications were still to be found.

Very interesting discussion as it lead me the following conclusion: "If we find the "killer application" there is nothing to be found anymore and we are out job. If you still search for it, you just do your best and it's just the market who is not creative responsive enough.

Similarly if you pretend having found the "killer application" you are due to deliver results and if you don't, you lose credibility.

As a conclusion, I personaly think that running after a rainbow leads nowhere, you should better look in the grass under you feet and see what you can do with what you find inthere.
