Some Vacuum cleaning I recently followed "The PC Doctor" advice to clean up my PC with a vacuum cleaner. My laptop is about 3 years old and has never been cleaned so far, except for the keyboard, the microbes preferred place (wash your hand kids!).   I first turn off your PC, unlocked all cables and ensured that the hard disk heads were parked. My Best Excel add-in PDF Print E-mail

  There is plethora of Excel add-in, most of them reserved to Excel-guru's, sometimes very expensive, but there are certainly four among them that you should have if you regularly create and validate Excel sheets.

 

  • XLAuditor: An inexpensive tool I have been searching for a while to help me reading and auditing complex formula. A must have!
  • Traffic light: (Not illustrated here) - This free tool will color the cells as you control and validate them, including related cells which de-facto are partially or fully reviewed. This tool can be obtained from a dedicated Yahoo user group.
  • Navigator Excel toolbar: Get back the standard Excel 2003 toolbar in Excel 2007 (everything at one place)
  • Explorer for Excel: A quick navigation tool, very handy as it comes to reviewing large workbooks
